Other Safety Supports
Crossing guards, TR Police Officers, Safety Teams, Campus Safety SPecialists, and ongoing employee training provide additional safety supports to the Twin Rivers community.


TR Police Officers: Twin Rivers' Police Officers are dedicated to the protection and safety of students, staff, community, and property.
Crossing Guards: Crossing Guards stop traffic using hand signals and/or hand-held stop signs to assist students in safely crossing streets.
Campus Safety Specialists: Provide a preventative presence and facilitates communications between students, parents, visitors, and school staff that enhances understanding and promotes a safe and secure environment.
- Promote safety by providing immediate response of trained officers to threats, injuries, critical events, unsafe conditions, and more.
- Aid in promoting safety through their diligent work to prevent incidents from occurring through education and collaboration.
- Support safety by working to create good relationships with students, staff, and the community.
Dispatch Officers: Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls to determine the level and nature of police assistance required in each situation.
- On duty 24/7, 375 to promote safety and protection.
- Assists in quick response to emergency calls
- Crossing guards serve as a constant reminder to drivers of the presence of pedestrians.
- Assist children in safely crossing streets at key locations.
- Campus monitoring helps to prevent vandalism, theft, and other illegal activity.
- Assists and coordinates with law enforcement agencies to ensure student and staff safety.
- Ensures staff understand how to utilize systems and applications in case of emergency.
- Enables staff to assess emergency preparedness and plan the best course of action in a variety of situations.
