Security Measures and Projects
Fencing Project: All TRUSD schools will have site security perimeter fencing, which include simple locking devices for exterior or interior key access.
Lighting Project: Replacement and upgrade of interior and exterior lighting.
Keys and Lock Upgrades: Updating classroom site locks to install classroom security lock which will provide the option to lock or unlock the classroom from the inside.
Public Announcement (PA) System Updates: PA systems are being updated to ensure audio clarity from anyone on the campus.
Background and Fingerprint Checks: All contractors and consultant who are not physically escorted onto a school campus will have a badge indicating they have been background checked and fingerprinted.
Camera Project: District-wide installation of new surveilance cameras with school-wide monitoring and recording capabilities. This project includes large-screen monitors and high-powered computers for viewing camera activity.

- Ensuring fuel efficient LED lights that are a time clock, activating after the sun goes down.
- Discourages unwanted intruders outside of the school day.
