Twin Rivers Unified School District

SELPA - Twin Rivers Special Education Local Plan Area

The Twin Rivers Unified School District is a single-district Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). The SELPA was approved for operation July 1, 2019 and is responsible for providing all the special education service needs of children age 3 to 22 residing within the district’s boundaries. SELPA facilitates high quality educational programs and services for special needs students, ensures the availability of a full continuum of program options, and provides technical assistance and professional development. Additionally, SELPA supports students and families with parent training and dispute resolution.

Twin Rivers takes great pride in our shared commitment to student success. Working together with our families and community partners, we can ensure that all children will have the appropriate level of support to reach their full potential and have a successful school experience in Twin Rivers.
