It is the mission of the Twin Rivers Unified School District Athletic Department to inspire each student to extraordinary achievement every day.

  • Provide comprehensive interscholastic athletic programs that are an integral part of the educational program emphasizing the development of lifelong learning, values and skills through hard work, sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and fair play.
  • Athletic programs are based upon open communication and mutual respect among school administration, instructors, coaches, athletes, parents and officials.
  • Athletic programs serve as a positive and productive force for our schools, community and most importantly the student-athlete. The athletic programs will be led by qualified leaders that are well-organized and goal-oriented.

TR Safety & Security Protocols at Athletic/Special Events

Dear Families,

As we gear up for another exciting year of high school athletics and special events, we want to remind you of our ongoing commitment to safety and security for all attendees. All fans entering our venues will continue to pass through a weapons detection system, with both bags and attendees subject to additional screening as needed.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take note of the following guidelines:

  • No backpacks will be allowed inside the venues.
  • Children under 14 who are not enrolled in our district schools must be accompanied by an adult.
  • All students must carry their student identification card.
  • Once attendees leave the venue or event, re-entry will not be permitted.
  • Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the venue or school grounds, and potential bans from future events on our campuses.

Maintaining secure environments for learning and competition remains our top priority. We encourage all attendees to arrive early and cooperate fully with our security protocols. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in denial of entry or removal from the event.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us uphold a safe and supportive community for our students, staff, families, and visitors. We look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events.

Sincerely,

Steve Martinez, Ed.D.
Superintendent, Twin Rivers Unified
