Bond Oversight Committee
Twin Rivers Unified School District's Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee is an independent community group that will review how the bond funds for the Twin Rivers Unified School District are being spent and issue an annual report. The District is required to appoint a Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee as part of the accountability requirements of Proposition 39 (Strict Accountability in Local School Construction Bonds Act of 2000).

The Next Bond Oversight Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 9, 2024
at 5:30 p.m. Twin Rivers District Office, Bay A located at 5115 Dudley Blvd, McClellan Park, CA 95652.
About the Committee
The committee, appointed by the Twin Rivers Unified School District Board of Trustees, must include:
- A parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District
- A member active in a business organization representing the business community within the District
- A member active in a senior citizen’s organization
- A member active in a bona-fide taxpayers association
- A member who is either a parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District and active in a parent-teacher organization such as the Parent Teacher Association or a school site council
- Two members of the community at large
The committee, which is expected to meet several times a year, is charged with the following:
- Keeping the public informed regarding the expenditure of bond proceeds
- Reviewing expenditure reports to ensure that bond proceeds are being used only for the purposes outlined in the ballot measure and ensuring that no proceeds are used for teacher or administrative salaries or for other operating expenses
- Presenting an annual written report to the Board of Trustees
