Twin Rivers Unified School District is committed to providing an exceptional education for approximately 25,000 students across 44 schools. With a dedicated team of over 3,000 employees, our diverse community speaks over 50 languages, fostering a rich, inclusive environment. We are proud to lead the way in sustainability, operating one of the nation’s largest electric school bus fleets, while also celebrating strong academic achievements, including a graduation rate that exceeds state and county averages.   Since 2022, Twin Rivers has invested over $109 million in facilities improvement projects, and in the 2023-24 school year, Twin Rivers has 128 projects in progress or planning stages, totaling more than $287 million
  Improvements include new universal TK programs, roofing, HVAC, security upgrades, classroom modernizations, ADA and health and safety improvements, and the first new school to be located west of SR-99 and I5 in Natomas. Northlake TK-8 opened for the 2024-25 school year
